Hi
I am not a rep but If I remember correctly from another forum there is no initial outlay for kit etc.

Hope this helps

Kay

My best mate is a rep and I do parties with her. You don't have to pay for the kit but you do have to do 6 parties in youre first 6 weeks to recover the cost of the kit. You also have to do at least 1 party a month or partylite will right you off as a lost cause. as a consultant you get a 40% discount on all current stock and all offers are open to you even without spending any money.
I think that covers it.

cjs76 · 28/02/2007 18:35

so does it make you any money ? and do you make the party quota ok?

Why are you particularly interested in Party lite. Have you thought of doing the same sort of thing for a different company?

cjs76 · 03/03/2007 17:01

I am doing Usborne books and a jewellery range, thought partylites maybe nice too? do you do something similar?

OP posts:
ShinyHappyPeopleHoldingHands · 03/03/2007 17:21

What is Partylites?

ishouldbeironing · 03/03/2007 17:24

Posh candles and accessories

ShinyHappyPeopleHoldingHands · 03/03/2007 18:07

Oh right. Yeah my SIL is into all that sh*t

JackieHall · 03/03/2007 19:21

Hi I also do Usborne, just be a bit careful mixing the two as Usborne don't like you working for other MLM companies.

cjs76 · 03/03/2007 19:36

Thanks for heads up havent told anyone from the company anyway! Can they actually stop you?

OP posts:
anniebear · 04/03/2007 11:00

I don't really see how Usborne would find out

(Of course, there is always the odd one or 2 people that could let them know! but thats the only way)

I know people who do Avon and Usborne, I wouldn't worry about it

I suppose Usborne offer you training at the cost of next to nothing so then from their point of veiw you are using that training in your other ventures!

JackieHall · 05/03/2007 18:05

If you attend the companies training events you have to sign to say you do not work for another DSA or similar company.

tegan · 05/03/2007 18:09

You can make great money. My mate can make over £1500 a month if she does a party every night and gets orders of over £250 at each party, which she tends to get on outside orders before the party even starts.

amidaiwish · 05/03/2007 18:38

have a look at mamatoto too. really easy to sell their range - fantastic range of practical products from pregnancy to toddlers plus wooden toys and child's play books. no quotas on parties etc.. no problem combining with others.

cjs76 · 05/03/2007 19:36

Dont think Ill have any time for training events to be honest - I wont to it not allowed just an idea I had.
Tegan - what company are you talkinh about? Does she really do a party every night?

OP posts:
anniebear · 05/03/2007 20:20

tegan · 06/03/2007 21:00
