I'm currently a manager in a college wanting to work PT in next few years. PT/flexi/compressed hours never an option in FE management. Can't drop back to lecturer as not enough pay & will not enjoy role. Could take temp time out to retrain in something else entirely - but unsure what. Salary would need to be a pro rata of a 40+k salary - what careers are out there above that pay scale that allow PT so I can get more work/life balance & still pay bills? I looked at law - v interesting - but read the days are long, which would cancel out the intended balance of PT - any ideas? Anyone got a well paid PT job that knows how I can get there? Any ideas welcomed. I have an MA in education.
