Political Mum Are Go

Hi there - I wonder if any of you lovely mums can help me. I'm trying to find out if there is any approximate UK equivalent of the website www.momsrising.org - it's home to a US lobby group made up of mums/moms who campaign for equal rights and treatment for mothers - in pay, employment, flexible working, children's healthcare etc. Something with a more political focus than mumsnet. It was set up by a stay-at-home mother who got fed up with the way she was treated by employers and so forth. If anyone has come across (or is part of) something vaguely similar in the UK, I'd really like to hear about it. Thanks so much!

Hi
Try timeforparenting.org and workingfamilies.org
I haven't any experience of them but I found their websites a few months back during a google search and saved them in my favourites for future reference.
Good luck.

or the Fawcett Society, more focussed on parliament and women generally than just on mums
