SSP Confusion

I was off sick for a month, due to a fall. I provided all the necessary certificates.
I received my wage slip yesterday and nearly cried. I'm getting £281.97....it seems they have added my normal wages with my sick pay then deducted £727 from that....now that's £200 more than my normal monthly wage. I'm so confused as to why they've deducted more than my monthly wage for my absence.
I'm paid on a pro rata basis.
Can anyone explain this to me? I've included a pic of my wage slip.

Does it depend when in the month you had your fall as maybe some of your pay is in arrears and some in advance? You also don't get SSP until the 4th day you are off so some days aren't paid at all. Maybe speak to payroll and see what they say. Should be £ 88.45 per week for SSP
