If you have retrained? What did you do before? What are you doing now?

and what qualifications did you have prior to retraining and how old were you when you retrained? How did you find studying in general?
Did the retraining change your life for the better?

Thanks

I am mid-retraining as a Chartered Secretary. Early career in financial services (investment marketing) followed by several years in career wilderness having left London and doing local but mind-numbing administration/administration management roles. I have a degree in International Management and French, hold the Investment Management Certificate and am now ICSA part-qualified.

Posted too soon... I started retraining at 40. I enjoy the studying if not the the exams and it has definitely changed my life for the better although it is quite a slog.
