There must be soooooo many of us with different skills who are available for freelance work. We could all employ each other!

Has this ever been done?

Well that's a bloody good idea! People who might be setting up an online store for eg. could find mumsnetters who can build the site or do social media or whatever.

Yes, exactly!

Maybe we could do a Skills Swap Shop, where we each help each other out and do things in return?

I'd be up for a directory, yes!

Sounds a really good idea however no idea how?
Just for the record I do freelance social media and web management. If anyone is struggling to get their business working for them on facebook, twitter or needs their website updating just give me a shout. I generally work at an hourly rate of £10 per hour (not sure how that compares to others on here?)

Love to hear from anyone interested x

Great idea.

I do freelance intellectual property work (Cambridge trained and qualified IP lawyer now with own business) at £100/hour (but I specialise in making problems very small very quickly!).

I can do things like file trade marks, look over agreements and help mumsnetters who receive letters accusing them of copyright infringement, etc.

It does occur to me that this could somewhat blow our anonymity...
