What's the context? Why are you getting a new contract?

alazuli · 05/01/2017 11:57

Sorry, it's for a new job. More than what I'm on now but at my company we get (tiny) salary increases every year. In the new contract it says: 'The Company is under no obligation to award an increase following a Salary review.'

Your current employer guarantee you an increase in your salary every year? Regardless of company performance, your performance, inflation rates, market rates or anything? That's unusual and yes the clause in your new contract is perfectly normal.
