Hi there,

I'm thinking of starting my own business, however I want to know if it will be worth it in the long run.
So mums out there I'm asking for your opinion on mobile cake businesses.

Just want a few opinions on how to approach this idea

What's mobile? You or the cake?

How good are your cakes?

Very low margins. Very difficult to scale. I personally wouldn't.

My sister-In-Law does this and has had huge success. Now also does cake decorating parties, corporate days and farmer markets.
Try it as a hobby and build from there.

what's unique/ special about your cupcakes? One person I know runs a business making cupcakse, she specialises on cupcakes as wedding cakes. She's doing well. If they taste great, and you can have a niche, then you can do it.
