Food or baby gifts ?

I want to start an online gift delivery business.

I like the idea of selling food such as chocolate and sweets or food hampers. But not sure if people still buy food baskets? There seems to be a lot of retro type sweet businesses online, so wouldn't want to do retro sweets.

New born baby gifts interests me as well but worried the market is too saturated.

What do you think of these ideas?

I started a business a few years ago.
www.velvetlivinglondon.co.uk with the same concept.
However i find although people love the actual concept of it, its so hard to get traction and cut through all the noise of the bigger brands that have more money to invest etc.
I think its a great idea though... when were you thinking of starting, you might catch the Christmas rush x
