Disciplinary Hearing

I've had migraines since I was 4 years old and I'm on daily medication which helps but hasn't stopped them completely, this has been classed as a disability, my employer put me on a sickness review, I was recently off with a sinus and chest infection as with the migraines it has left me having 1.25 days off more than they allowed, they have now set a disciplinary hearing with a view to disciplinary action, I don't know what to do, my migraines are often triggered by stress, should I contact a solicitor, can anyone help me with what to do next please?

That sounds stressful. I'd suggest you get copies of the company's sickness and disciplinary policies. Read up on the DDA and employment law. Contact acas/cab. If you've any access to legal help (e.g. through an insurance policy or employee benefits) give them a call. However I'm not an expert in this, but hopefully this bump will attract others' attention.

Best of luck.
