My colleague has just been 'let go'.
She started the job in January with a 3 month probationary period. In July our old boss said that her paperwork wasn't up to scratch (she had never had any training on this and nobody had audited her files) and she was put back on probation. This probation was to last 3 month's. Since then there was an incident where she had a minor part to play. She got bollocked but the manager stated that it was sorted and we should get over it. She had her probationary review on Monday (everything was positive) and was sacked on Wednesday. Pleas note she has had 1 supervision and no paperwork training since july. Nobody has been told why she has been sacked (including her). No incidents have occurred and there has been nothing said. She is obviously devestated.
However, me, her and other colleagues feel she has been bullied from this job. Three colleagues have put in numerous complaints about her over minor things (literally putting her coat in the wrong place sometimes) and things not worth raising. These things that we all do but they only seem to raise it against her. They have also said snide things to her and behind her back. They seem to have my manager on side too as he openly commented badly on her in my supervision. I'm wanting to try and get her to raise this, however, is there any point since she has already gone? Thank you.
