Job interview outfit

I'm going to a job interview this afternoon. Can I turn up in a smart shirt and skirt but without a jacket? It's for a professional job but on a day-to-day basis I'd be ok not to wear a jacket - is it inappropriate not to have one in an interview situation, though?

Anyone?

I'd wear one. I'm in education; not many wear a suit/jacket day to day but everyone does (and would be expected to) wear to an interview.

Perfectly reasonable. If you don't have one, don't rush to buy one for today. Good luck!
