Matched betting help

Read before you report...Saw the post from yesterday vanished...

Matched betting is a legit way to make guaranteed profits on bets. Sounds dodgy and too good to be true but Google it. It is a genuine betting technique.

I work full time but also spend a couple of hours a day doing this, are there any other betters on here? Would be good to compare notes and find out what works for you :)

It does work and I agree, I've been very successful with it too.

What I have a problem with is that it promotes gambling and I just don't see it as a full time money maker neither. It's something to do on the side.

But I wouldn't suggest it to people, because as I said it does promote gambling.

I see your point, and i'm sure for a lot of people that could be the case. I guess i'd never considered that before, don't get me wrong there is a bit of a buzz when your horse wins or there is a big slot win but I see it very much as a calculated method and don't feel the urge to keep spinning.... But obviously for some yes it can become addictive. Certainly isn't for everyone.

Do you mainly do sports offers or casino? Bit of both?

It's also highly risky. I know a few people who've been financially crippled by getting in too deep, chasing losses, etc., one guy lost his house. Like all gambling, never "invest" more than you can afford to lose.

I made a decent part time living from this (been at home with DS1-3 last few years) but over time a lot of my bookie accounts have been closed (they cotton on eventually). I worked out I was earning around £10 an hour which is pretty decent but my "professional" career is delivering £25 an hour & I have been jammy enough to land a really flexible 2-3 day a week job all from home that fits in with family life.

I still do a version of it but it's more like trading the odds movements on live sporting events or setting up trading opportunities.Keeping my eye in really in case my day job disappears.

@Pickled0nions If you've done MB before and been successful, how can you think it 'promotes' gambling!?

If done correctly then it's risk-free and all of the matched betting sites have enough guides and step by step instructions to walk you through the offers

@Badbadbunny MB is not risky at all. There is no chasing losses as matched betting is about manipulating bookmaker offers so you make a profit whatever the outcome.

In short, it's not gambling!

I'm looking into joining matched betting but I don't know how though or where to start. Can anyone help or do it for me?
