Has anyone done it?

One is starting in my area tomorrow and I'm in two minds whether to start it or not?

My sister did this course. As far as I know, she really enjoyed it and came out with a load of certificates at the end of it. Can ask her about it if you like, though won't see her for a day or two. Think it's worth doing though by all accounts.

Sorry can i ask what the course is about ??

Will ask Sis but I think it covers a variety of topics.

Ok - have just seen Sis and asked her. The course covers several topics. The ones I can remember are: First Aid, problem solving, risk assesment, teamwork and a residential (don't know what that involves but she said it was fun). Probably there is more, but I only saw her briefly. You come out with City and Guilds certificates at the end. She said she enjoyed it and it was worth doing. HTH

I didn't go in the end. I wish I had now though, it does sound good, but I got talked out of it. Mum said it would be a bunch of ex-offenders and I wouldn't fit in!!

The course finished just before I start uni too, so would have been great for the summer.

Oh well. I'm sure there'll be other things to occupy me. Thanks for the info aero.
