Travel expenses?

Hi
I'm owed travel expenses from work, but not sure of the law. Are there any law/guidelines as to timely payment? I'm fed up waiting months to get reimbursed.

What's in your contract I've worked places where we do them weekly

I think with us, payments can be processed twice a month. In recent months, I've found mine have been going through very quickly (days, rather than weeks), so I think processes have changed. I think there is something in the staff handbook about how quickly payments should be made, but I don't know if they are legal expectations, nor what the details are.
