Being signed off sick

Sorry if this isn't the right place to post!
I'm 17 weeks pregnant, and really suffering with pelvic girdle pain (to the point where I can't move at times). I'm awaiting a physio appointment, but using a support belt I kept from last pregnancy. The pain is so much worse than last time I'm not sure I'll be able to work as long as I planned.
The trouble is, I'm on a course until February, I'll be 33+5 when I finish my course. I don't want anything to get in the way of completing that.
If I have to be signed off work, can I still go to my uni days and complete that? Or do I have to forfeit and redo the course at a later date?

Is your course part of work?

The course is related to work, will extend my role but not vital to it. Work are paying for it and encouraged me to to do it. They are still, obviously, supporting me with it. I didn't intend to be pregnant when I started!
