I have been looking at various DIY/pay a monthly fee website designing companies as I need to take the next step, does anyone have one that you particularly use or recommend.

Thank you in advance

IMO those sites are a rip off. It's $16 for square space per month forever, whereas a custom website would be a few hundred to get up and running and then hosting is

Also food for thought as I was doing some calculations before I saw your reply, thank you both, need to do some mulling over

I pay much less than that for Squarespace for my business.

I used a template, it was really easy to build my site myself (I am totally non techie) & it's really stylish.

The lowest price can seen on squarespace is $12, my hosting costs £4.50

I guess they look even more rip offish to me, because for my websites I only pay hosting because I can make websites myself.[shrug]

You might also want to consider email, the cheapest squarespace doesn't seem to have it.

I do my own on WordPress, it's really easy and free more importantly.

olderthanyouthink · 06/10/2016 11:33

Giraffeski out of interest do you use Wordpress.com or Wordpress.org?

Giraffeski · 18/10/2016 14:26

It's WordPress.org
