I've recently become a single parent and I'm desperately trying to figure out how I'm going to keep my current job and also do the school runs....is there anybody who can advise me?

It depends on how doing the school runs will affect your job.
For example will doing the school runs mean you will be 15 minutes late and need to finish 15 early?

Get a childminder who does the school run.

Can you flex your work ours to start later or finish earlier?
Breakfast clubs?
After school clubs?
Childminder that picks up from school?

I have one day a walk.I couldn't cover, so I pay my niece (17) a bit of pocket money to pick up and feed/do homework with

My daughters school has fit for sport which does both early mornings and after school, the problem is I start work at 0700 on the morning shift and I'm not rich lol...so my options are limited

Is there a parents group in Forest hill where parents can help each other out?
