Hi - I'm hoping someone can help me out - I am currently employed part-time and am looking to set up as a Sole Trader to work for myself. I wont be leaving my employed work for a while, if it all. My question is, am I still entitled to Statutory Maternity Pay from my employer, or will I have to claim maternity allowance? It's all a bit confusing so was hoping to get some advice from someone in a similar position! :)
