Moving away whilst on mat leave

Hello. I am due to start mat leave towards the end of the year, but it's looking like my partner will be starting a new job 300 miles away. My question is, am I allowed to move away whilst on maternity leave? We won't be coming back so I will be leaving my job. I'll only be receiving SMP so there will be no issue of owing money. Thanks.

And if we did move would I still receive the money?

Yes and Yes. There are no rules about where you have to live.

Unless you're starting another job, make sure you hand in your notice so that your last day of employment is the last day of your one year maternity leave, that way you'll get paid for the holiday you will accrued during that year.
