that's it really! and if so, what's the best way to do it. If not, is it worth putting a letter in for when / if they do consider pt positions?
TIA!

yes it is worth it. employers should give any applications for flexible working proper consideration. I would set out your proposals in a separate letter tbh - aare you looking for a job share?

I would definately make it clear in your application and see if they consider it. For flexible working applications (statutory) you have to have been continuously employed for 26 weeks before making a request and though they have a statutory obligation to consider your request, they can turn you down under 8 different headings (which can be manipulated)

Harpischord & choc - thnks for yr replies. i would be looking to do a job share but not done one before. The job would be at a new company, so my other option would be do to full time for the minimum amount and then request flexible.
I havent even received the application yet, so there i am thinking ahead already! thks very much - appreciate it
