Does anyone work in a nursery/playgroup?

I'm thinking of training in childcare, it was what I originally wanted to do many years ago but never did.

My concern in looking after kids all day and then coming home and looking after my own, how hard is that really?

what is the best way to train? College or an apprenticeship?

It is very low paid and hard work in a nursery. Have you thought about a related field eg paediatric speech therapy or occupational therapy or nannying?

I work in a pre school ful time and it is too much especially when you have your own children, it involves a lot more then just playing with kids and often means taking work home unpaid. The perks are working term time , 9-3pm and working with children. I'd suggest you work part time if your kids are young.
