My daughter has been on Atemoxitine for the last 14 months and it has helped her concentrate in school. However because of her increasing low moods and we felt it did not help her with her challenging behaviour we decided to stop the medication. We have been prescribed Guanfacine now. This is a relatively new drug. Does anybody know anyone who has tried it? What are the side effects? Mood swings? I am really desperate for any information who knows anything about this drug. Thank you.
