Anyone elses business failed?

Well after 18 months and too much money to think about I have had to accept my business has failed.

I had an online internet subscription service and just couldn't get the members I needed to keep going.

I am trying to keep my head up as I look for a job but its hard.

Sorry to hear that. But at least you tried, a lot of people are too scared etc.

Are you returning to your previous career?

Don't be disheartened. Hopefully you didn't lose too much money.

Lots of successful entrerprenneurs have failed businesses behind them.

Get yourself back on your feet and then use the experience to better prepare yourself for your next business venture whether it's next year or 10 years' time. You'll have gained lots of experience so use it to your advantage. Evaluate what worked and what didn't and be realistic with yourself as to why it failed.

Don't be afraid of shouting about your experience and new skills from the rooftops in your quest for a job - a failed business is nothing to be ashamed of and lots of employers will value your experience outside the workplace.
