There is a rule being brought out in regards to this - has anyone else seen it - I work Mondays and fridays so out of my 8 days a year 5 of them are taken up by bBank Holidays which is a bit of a bind - I did see it on the BBC News one day but can;t find anything else about it anywhere??

Thanking you in anticipation.

Tx

The law at the moment is that Bank holidays are not part of your entitlement. It is down to your employer to offer you BH in addition to your normal holiday entitlement. As things stand at the moment, if you take a BH off, it can be deducted from your paid entitlement.

I don't work Monday and Fridays, and the BH situation was part of my reasoning behind it!

The way I read that article, the change comes in this October.
