I emailed my line manager informing her that I was handing in my notice but have been ill with anxiety and panic attacks for the past week and the doctor as issued a sick note. I also told her this is the email and my husband has dropped it in today.
I work in a hospital and my manager has acknowledged my email and accepted resignation but didn't mention sick note which was clearly stated in my email. Do I need to call in and advise that I am off or is my doctors note sufficient. I am starting to panick again now as I can't face calling them
