NHS bank work

An opening came up today for bank HCA work at my local hospital. I've been preparing my application for ages. The post was closed within less than five minutes due to a high number of applications, so I was unable to submit in time.

How the hell am I ever meant to get on the bank?! The next opening is in two months! Angry

Have you got experience? Could you register with an agency?

MyQuaterLifeCrisis · 04/05/2016 20:43

Only voluntary experience, and I've done relevant training courses plus have a degree in a health subject. A lot of the agencies say they want 1 year+ of paid experience.

What about doing homecare work to get experience?

Agency HCA work, home care would help. Is there anything near you?
