back to work meeting

My work have requested a back to work meeting with me. 5 months into my mat leave.

They have some jobs which are vacant so I think they want to discuss if I want to fill one.

I don't want to return until after the summer and I really don't want to be discussing anything right now.

How can I politely let them down about the meeting so that they still have confidence in me returning?

Surely it's my right so tell them I would like the return to work meeting when I actually want to return?

Of course it's your right. But they are required to keep you up to date with promotions/vacancies so that you're not discriminated against by reason of maternity leave. If you are not interested in meeting, just say that you're not in a position to meet right now but look forward to meeting with them closer to your return.

Maybe your current role is at risk of redundancy and they want to offer you something else.

I'd go to the meeting and request to be paid as a KIT day.
