Calculating pt pay

I'm due to go back to work in November and am in the fortunate position of being able to more or less choose how many days I work. I can also choose to have a phased return to help ds/us get used to childcare.

All good stuff. But I'm rubbish with sums and need to calculate how much I'll actually get paid with the various combinations of hours worked/tax etc/credits/childcare costs. I know about entitledto.com but are there similar calculators for working out your tax?

Want to speak to my boss & start looking for nurseries asap (probably should have already started...how depressing )

Thanks!

It's a right pain, isn't it...

makes me wish (again) that I had one of these dhs who is completely anal about finances and balances cheque books/keeps receipts and things, so I could hand the whole sorry mess over to him (like my dad infact...)

Dh is unfortunately even worse than me. He can't even remember if he got a P60 last year (obviously he did), and if so where he put it which is complicating the applying for tax credits process. Arrrrggggh!!!

Thanks - they're both really handy. Just need to sit down and put the work in now...
