Apply for job.

Check out childminders.

They are not mutually exclusive my love. Once you've done your research you can move on from there.

btw.... did you finish sending out the menu planners? [wicked smirk]

I would probably do both at the same time...concentrate on finding a job, while testing the water with Childminders.

I also have a bit of a predicament...hoping to get uni place for September. I have been told I won't be given a timetable until the first week!!! Sorting childcare is going to be a nightmare!!!

Thanks for the meal planner btw

oops somehow an extra ma appeared on your name there!

I would start looking for childcare now. It might take a while to find someone you like if you're going for a childminder.

What is the pro-rata thing you're trying to work out? If you are being paid an annual salary, divide it by 52 and then by 15 to get your hourly rate. If you are being paid an hourly rate, multiply by 15 and then again by 52 to work out your salary.

I don't know if you get any other benefits, like health insurance, as a teacher, but probably worth asking about...
