My dd has signed a contract to begin a new job on the 8th January but due to massive interference from her soon to be ex dh she now feels it would be better for her and her ds to move back home with us. Because the new job is an hour and a halfs drive away she would have to get her ds up at the crack of dawn. She honestly believed she would be able to rent a little 2 bedroom flat nearer to her new job but the rents are astronomical.
She needs to know the legalities of not starting work when she has signed an employment contract. Anyone have any advice please.
