Person A works full time (37.5h per week) and benefits from 35 days off per year. This includes 27 days annual leave and 8 bank holidays. It is written into their employment contact that they receive annual leave PLUS bank holidays.
Person B has reduced their hours and now works part time (21 hours per week / 56% of full time hours ) so they receive prorated annual leave @ 15 days which is 56% of 27 days. They are on the same contact [ as in they should receive annual leave PLUS bank holidays] however as person B doesn’t work Monday’s they effectively loose the “benefit” of the extra time off work?
There are x2 Friday BH and x6 Monday BH in 2016.
Should person B received 56% of the x6 Monday’s based on the fact FT employees get 27 days + BH.
Google isn't helping, HR (one person) is away for the next few weeks
