Hi. I. Currently on Maternity leave and I'm due to go back in August. Before I was pregnant I was working 12hr shifts, with 2 other children at home. My partner used to come home at 4 look after them until 8 when I was finished. However now I have my littlest one it's completely out the question. The company I work for is shit, they won't reduced my hours so I was just wondering do you know if i can hand my notice in before August? Thanks x

its my understanding if you only get basic maternity allowance you can go at any time .if your company gives you enhanced pay you must pay back the excess if you leave .not great but those shifts dont sound great with a young baby .

Hi. Oh nooooo they aren't paying me any enhanced pay. That'll be the day!! No it isn't with the shifts but I still need to find something as bills still have to be paid :( Thank you for your reply.
