Change of hours

I am a teacher and successfully negotiated going down to a 0.6 contract, working 5 mornings a week until 12 every day after the birth of my first baby. This worked well for me and my employer was very happy with this arrangement too. I since then had another baby and my maternity leave will end in June. Just before I went off, we had a completely new leadership group and a lot has changed. I have a return to work meeting in about two weeks and I am scared they will change the hours I work, for let's say 3 whole days rather than mornings. Am I right to feel concerned? Can they change my hours? I know I shouldn't be worrying as it won't change the outcome of the meeting, but it's on my mind. Does anyone have any advice? I will have been off for longer than 6 months. Thank you!

As far as I know flexible working is a permanent contract change so they can't change it just like that....assuming it was all official in the first place...did u get a new contract to sign when you dropped your hours?

Thank you for your answer. I did, but I can't find it anywhere so I don't know if the hours worked were specified or if it just said 60%.

You should be able to request a copy from hr (or whatever the equivalent in a school is)..the office? :-)

My new contract is for 27hpw and does specify the times so hopefully yours will too
