Interview date - wwyd?

I've seen a job advertised which really interests me. The closing date is Friday, but my main problem is that I'll be on my honeymoon on the interview date. Wwyd, would you bother applying? Would it look unprofessional if I contact HR before even applying?

Contact HR & explain. That is professional, they will tell you whether your application would still be welcome.

We've advertised posts & changed the interview dates afterwards for stupid reasons. At least you have a good reason!
