Had an arguement with Boss on friday dreading tomorrow!

I have a new boss - he bought a part of the company I work for a few months ago. ever since he joined he has nitpicked at everything I do - On Friday it came to a head when I reminded him of procedure he put in place after telling me the way I run things are wrong and then doing them as I would and he told me that it was his company and he did not need my advise on how to run it! I tols him I didnt think I could work with him anymore and that I wanted to go home to think about it! anyway the rest of the people I work with are lovely and I feel why should I be pushed out of a job I love and do well! so I am going in tomorrow and will tell him I am not leaving but I am now worried he will insist I leave ! (I work whilst my DH stays at home with our DS and cant lose my job)

You poor thing, I know its a horrible situation but I wont worry about it because really and truely - what would his grounds to fire you for?? employers need to be very careful or else he could be up for unfair dismissal.... hope it goes ok for you, the best of luck

I have a boss from hell, I'm dreading going back next month! I'm not taking it this time, the nit picking and bullying. I have 2 kids & I'm not going to let my boss upset me enough to walk out.

Thanks guys for your support - an update I did go in and say I was not leaving and over the month I really tried hard to get on with my new boss then two weeks ago (a month to the day we had are argument) I was informed that at a directors meeting on the 8th Dec (the day we had the argument) it was decided the company need a fully qualified Accountant - I am only part qualified so they made me redundant and gave me a months notice!!! well anyway I saw a job I liked on total jobs website the night after getting the letter and I applied and have now been offered the job - to top it off their qualified accountant decided not to take the job so at the moment they have no one to replace me ahhhh
