Does anyone know how long the DBS takes when its status is being printed?

Mine took about 12 days from being sent off to getting the certificate in the post.

I think mine was about a month. It may vary according to where you are in the country, and how busy they are.

Mine took less than a week from that point. Think they send it second class post.

If you are needing it to be on the DBS Update service and you have not already done so, then do that now. You will need the Application number or the Certificate number - the online tracking system will give you one if not both of those.

Register for DBS Update Service
Make sure you make a note of your Service ID when it is shown to you.
Do not use a mobile browser as the site has a popup which seems to be tricky on some devices to access.
