Anyone changed career from law?

I need some inspiration based on real life experiences please.

I trained as a property solicitor, am currently a SAHM and plan on returning to work in 2 years once DS starts school. I want to use that time to work out a career change and do any necessary training as I'm fed up of conveyancing. However, I'm lacking in inspiration as to what to do next. Property law is all I've ever done.
So, (ex)- lawyers, tell me about your career changes please.

H and I are still lawyers but quite a lot of our friends (from law school) are no longer lawyers - in fact very few are still practising (its about 17-18 years since we left law school).

This is what people are doing :
Teaching
Lecturing at College of Law
Running a lettings business (and doing the in-house landlord / tenant stuff)
Translator (bi-lingual friend) - actually mostly court work in the magistrates court
Manager of student pro-bono work at a university
Running their own nursery
Recruitment consultant
