How to write "Strategic"?

I'm applying for my managers position, so promotion but struggling to make my evidence strategic. Any advice would be gratefully received

Think of it as the opposite of tactical. So not responding to immediate operational demands, but planning and making changes that will benefit the business in the wider context. / longer term.
