Back in 2000, I qualified as a nursery nurse. Nneb diploma, cutting a long story short, I then fell pregnant with my Dcs so didn't use my qualification.
I then got a job in care in 2005 and have been here since.
Rumour back then was if you don't use your qualification within 10 year you lose it.
Now I have been trained to nvq3 in h&s care also via my current job.
I'm sort of thinking , is this it ? Blush I'm 32 and although I'm working full time, it's not the best career is it .
Thing is I don't know what I want to do .

Would love to train to be an OT but not sure what route to go down, then there's the financial side of it, I would still need to work to pay my bills.

I don't understand post graduate/under graduate. I just haven't got a clue.

Dh is asked me to look at refresher courses for nursery nursing, but again I can't course the information.
I'm pretty clueless,

Can any advise me please
Tia

For OT, you may need an access course and then do a three year undergraduate degree. There is a shortage of OTs and the course is funded so it would be a good move.

For more info, phone up your local uni and have a chat with the admissions tutor for the OT course.

Care work would provide a good background for OT.
