unexpectedly looking for new career

Maternity leave is coming to an end and Ive just realised ive missed the chance to re register in my current career due to various reasons. Anyway I'm now looking for a new job but am struggling to find anything that will fit around childcare. Does anybody have any suggestions.

qualifications, work experience?

Qualified dental nurse but can no longer work in this field. 11 GCSEs worked in dentistry for last 8 years.

if you don't mind getting into people's mouths, what about retraining to be a dental hygienist? They seem to be like gold-dust around here. I bet can set their own hours sometimes, too.
