NHS band 5 nurse interview - advice needed!

Hi all,

I've got an interview next week for a nursing post working in a respiratory early discharge service, just wondering if there is anyone out there who can give some advice on what sort of interview questions they might ask? I'm pretty happy with the standard questions, why do I want the job, what are my main skills, etc, but not sure about more role specific stuff. This is my first interview since getting my newly qualified post 2 years ago.

Thanks in advance for any tips you can give me!

I'm not a nurse but a hcp - I've had a few nhs interviews recently and they've nearly all included some kind of scenario type question or 'tell me about a time when you've demonstrated x skill' so I'd have some examples fresh in your mind of times you've demonstrated good team working, excellent communication skills, person-centred care etc. Hopefully some nurses will also be along to advise you. Good luck!
