I know what I want to call us , I googled domain names and got loads of companies offering ways to get the domain name .
Who do I choose? Any recommendations ? I also need to build a website but I'm not very " computer savvy" , do I need a domain computer package ?
I'm so confused !

Buy a domain name from somewhere like 123reg

Have a look t WordPress as a fairly straightforward way to set up a Website.

I used names.co.uk to register my domain name. And used Wix to build a free website which was really straightforward.

Try Fasthosts. Some of the 'cheapest' domain name providers will sting you later for very menial services. I have used fasthosts for years. Reliable, decent support and reasonably priced.

I've used vidahost - on their site you can check if the domain name you want is available then register it and they have tools all set up to create a Wordpress site - really easy to use and update yourself once you get used to it. And they actually have people at the end of the phone to answer your queries if you get stuck - they're a local UK firm based in Berkshire.
