I'm looking for work again as a TA after a long period of being a sahm.
I know I'll have to be willing to accept a level 2 position, even though I'm a level 3.
Tbh, I'd just be extremely glad to be offered a position after so long away from work.
I'm wondering though what I could expect to earn every month, after tax, these days.
I know everything changed (holiday entitlement, etc), so I just wondered if anyone could clarify for me please? Smile

My friend is a level 2 and she says she earns £9000 a year.

WoodleyPixie · 22/09/2015 18:36

That's 8.30-3.30 5 days a week

It depends on the area and if a Sen allowance is paid.
Our level 2 start on around 15k before deductions.

A mates is around 9k.

Have a look on jobs go public and you will get an idea for your area.
