Hi everyone. I'm currently 30 weeks' pregnant and I'm starting to stress out about having to return to work after my maternity leave. Although DH and I will be able to manage financially whilst I'm on ML, it would be near impossible to manage if I decided to give up work. It has taken us 4 years to conceive and I just can't stand the thought of returning to my job after ML. There are several reasons for this. 1. I'd rather look after my baby myself then put him/her into nursery or another form of childcare. 2. My job has lots of travelling involved and with DHs work hours and mine it would be impossible to find a childcare provider who would open early enough in the morning for us both to get to work. Plus my job involves overnight stays and I definitely don't want to be staying away from my family overnight. 3. My job would practically be impossible to do part time and I really don't want to work full time, if at all. I would love to become self employed so I could choose my own hours and fit them in around DH's work hours so one of us would always be looking after our baby, but my dilemma is that I have no idea what I can do self employed. My background is in finance and training. I also have a history degree. Does anyone have any ideas on what sort of business I could potentially start? Thanks.

I think that you can start own eCommerce store for example. I am a mom too and it's hard to work and raise a kid. I started from the scratch. At 1st it will be hard but than you will see how it easy. I can recommend to use CRM bpmonline platform for that. U can use a trial version initially. It will make your business booming. It helped me. Good luck!
