Hello

I am going for a freelance editing job, just a few months work but will be great experience (I am a journalism student) and the money, obviously, will help.

Anyway, very nervous about getting an interview and any general tips, especially from those in a similar field would be most appreciated!

Thanks.

Not the same field, but I returned to p/t work just over a year ago after 12 years at home. (Well... not strictly at home as I'm rarely in!)
Play up your strengths - how motivated you are - helping in school, helping out with PTA - anything else you've done.
An employer will appreciate you if you show that you're keen, well organised & motivated. Emphasise that you are returning to work because you believe it's best for your children - you want to resume career/earn money for increasing cost of children etc.
Just be bright & cheery and 'big yourself up'.
Good luck
