If you HAD to work 100 hours a week

Someone asked me this years ago and I've discussed it with people ever since. If you HAD to work 100 hours every week, but could choose your own hours/days would you do?

7x 14 hour shifts?
6x 16 hour shifts?
5x 20 hour shifts? (!)

To ensure as much of a balance as possible, I would probably choose to work 5x 16 hour shifts during the week, say 7am-11pm, with 10 hours on Sat 8am-6pm and Sunday midday-10pm, giving me an evening and whole morning off on the weekend.

Perhaps 7am-9pm each day would be more straightforward!

I knew a guy who worked those kinds of hours, but he was a cocaine addict.

I don't think it's sustainable long (or even medium) term.

Confused

I don't think I can wrap my head around working all my waking hours, let alone how I'd plan it out throughout the week.

Even with 7x14 hour shifts you wouldn't have time to eat. It would leave 10 hours per day not working. 1 hour commute (tight) leaves 9 hours. 1 hour personal hygiene leaves 8 hours. No time to wash clothes, go shopping, order shopping....not sustainable.
