Is there anything we can help with?

2 interviews out of 12 isn't bad - have you already had them or are they coming up?

Faye12345 · 26/08/2015 11:43

Not nay help as such just need a sounding board. Have got the interviews on 4th and 9 September which seems a long time away! Checking my emails like crazy for more interviews!

What line of work are you in? (Understand if you can't say obviously!)

Every time I go to give my notice in I can't do it. I'm so desparate

What do you have in the way of savings if you resign now without a new job to go to? Are there possibilities for temping in your line of work?

Faye12345 · 27/08/2015 19:22

My OH earns a decent wage but not enough for two for long. I have two months notice period and 5 grand savings. I could do temp work as needed but my confidence is so shot I doubt I could handle it

If it's making you so miserable, leave but what are the issues? Is it a staff member? Lack of training? External issues affecting your work?

Could you at least go to a temp agency and ask for feedback on your cv and the likelihood of you getting regular temp work?

Faye12345 · 27/08/2015 21:02

It's the context and workload. The job is way above my level of competency and ice hated it since day one a year ago. I just want someone to tell me what to do

presumably your cv is up to date so book a day's holiday and go round the temp agencies and ask them for honest feedback. Then hand round your notice in if it's positive. What's your notice period?

Faye12345 · 27/08/2015 21:30

Its two months. Ive got two job interviews lined up but only interested in one of them x
