temporary gap in p/t employment

Would anyone know, what would be expected of a part time working person considering benefits if you had a small temporary gap/drop in hours below the 16hr threshold.

Not sure what you mean, "expected". What would be expected by who?

Mind you if it's about what benefits you are entitled to I've no idea, don't know anything about benefits.
