I have been offered a job that is band 3 Nhs, but it is only 30 hours a week?

I am struggling to calculate how much I will earn pro rata.. Any help would be much appreciated

£16633 for 37.5 hours a week makes it £8.53 an hour (ish), £255.89 a week for 30 hours. That's on the bottom increment.

Thanks for your reply.. So if I was band 2 with a year's service, would I still go to bottom of 3?

I think (but don't quote me) if you are on the second increment of band 2 you'd go to the bottom of 3 because the rise would equate to more than an increments worth...when I got made up to a 6 I went from 2nd increment of 5 to bottom of 6.

I understand.. So it's still a pay decrease from full time bottom of band 2

Agenda for change is complicated sometimes haha

Hello there. Im currently a band 2 on hourly rate of £8.26 I’m full time at the moment but will be dropping to 30 hours. What will my monthly take home be after everything’s taken out. Thank you xx
